Each year, the Sunset Park Business Improvement District sponsors, supports, or partners with other community organizations to produce various events for the benefit of our community.
Some of those events include:
5th Avenue Multi-cultural Lunar New Year Celebration

Puerto Rican Day Parade
National Night Out
5th Avenue September Street Festival
National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Traffic Violence
Holiday Shopping Days
Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Winter/Holiday Avenue Lights
Local volunteer clean-up and gardening days for clubs, and block associations
The NYPD 72nd Precinct Community Council is meeting on Tuesday, November 17
On November 21st in front of the 72nd Precinct there will be a Turkey giveaway
