Each year, the Sunset Park BID produces, supports, or partners in producing: 5th Avenue Multi-cultural Lunar New Year Celebration, Earth Day, Puerto Rican Day Parade, National Night Out, 5th Avenue September Street Festival, National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Traffic Violence, Holiday Shopping Days, Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, Winter/Holiday avenue lights, and many local volunteer clean-up and gardening days for clubs, and block associations.
