Through NYC Small Business Services and in partnership with other Sunset Park community service non-profits, the Sunset Park BID recently completed a comprehensive Commercial District Needs Assessment. Expect to find detailed reporting on street conditions, storefronts, vacancies, consumer and merchant priorities, and recommendations for improvements.
The Sunset Park BID’s formal corporate name is “Sunset Park District Management Association, Inc.” We are a NYS registered not-for-profit charitable corporation. We can accept tax-deductible donations and will offer tax-status verification. We are one of 76 NYC BIDs, each uniquely tailored to their service area district. We’re here to serve as a liaison between local businesses and stakeholders and the City government, bringing a collective voice to the neighborhood.
