Commercial Needs Assessment

Through NYC Small Business Services and in partnership with other Sunset Park community service non-profits, the Sunset Park BID recently completed a comprehensive Commercial District Needs Assessment. To see it, click for English, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, or Simplified Chinese.  Expect to find detailed reporting on street conditions, storefronts, vacancies, consumer and merchant priorities, and recommendations for improvements.

Financial Reports

The Sunset Park BID’s formal corporate name is “Sunset Park District Management Association, Inc.”  We are a NYS registered not-for-profit charitable corporation.  We can accept tax-deductible donations and will offer tax-status verification.  The NYS Charities Database contains detailed information about the Sunset Park BID, and you can view our annual Financial Reports and 990 Reports.

NYC Business Improvement Districts

We are one of 76 NYC BIDs, each uniquely tailored to their service area district. We’re here to serve as a liaison between local businesses and stakeholders and the City government, bringing a collective voice to the neighborhood.

We are here to help create a vibrant, clean, and safe district, delivering services and improvements above and beyond those typically provided by the City. These services include:
