Board of Directors

The Sunset Park Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) was created by local merchants in 1995. It is a New York State registered not-for-profit corporation. The Board of Directors, have volunteered to advance the BID's mission. They meet at least quarterly and set the BID's priorities and budget.

Anyone who owns a building, holds a commercial lease or lives within the boundaries of the BID is automatically a member. Any member may be elected to serve on the Board of Directors at our annual meetings. Any member may vote on board membership after registering to attend an annual meeting. Each "class" of board member (lease holders, residents, owners) votes among themselves.

All Sunset Park BID General Board meetings are open to the public and we welcome visitors.
